    How do i wire....

I bought a varmint buster for a standard spinner. The VB is made for American hunters spinners, but I don't want to downgrade. instead I'm looking to hook it up to my coon cage. I know I hook the red and black to a batter. Do I connect the two blue wires to the cage and that's that? From what I understand it's just a 2000V capacitor. Also, could I just wire it to the spinner plate?

I would think the two blue wire would go to two separate metal surfaces that are not in context with on another. The raccoon would then complete the circuit and feel the 2kV.

So I could wire the one blue wire on one side, and other blue wire on another? OR One on the cage and one on the spinner?

I believe so. Without seeing a wiring diagram for your device it's hard to say. I imagine the device just amplifies the voltage out put of the battery. Be careful and don't get sapped yourself. And remeber high voltage will arc so the metal pieces would need to have some distance to prevent arcing.

If you have any really fine steel wool you could probably take a small piece and see what it will do. Can you take a pic of the back of the unit? Does it show the output of the device?

No I looked it up. You can't see the capacitor, its encased in a plastic unit with two "plugs" built for the American hunter spinner
