    Got me a Worksharp

Finally talked myself into it and am mad I didn't do it sooner. If you're on the fence about getting one do it. Best thing ever! Stupid simple to use. Had my pocket knife razor blade sharp in less than 5 minutes. Now I have to go sharpen everything in the house

Be careful. First instinct is to get every knife in the house razor sharp. Albeit it is very easy and satisfying but I have heard some horror stories. I had a coworker take the end of his thumb off cutting onions. My sister cut herself pretty good as well.

Take care, make sure everyone knows that they have been sharpened and take it easy. The Worksharp will get knives scary sharp and if you're not used to it, it can be dangerous.

Careful with the tip = heat travels to the the tip if it gets hot it will detemper the edge and will do the most damage at the tip! : ) ~

It'll take the tip of a blade off as well if you don't hold the angle right. No more point, it'll be round. lol

I've been wanting to get my dad a knife sharpener for Christmas. I haven't heard of worksharp but it looks like I need to look into them. What model would I need for him? He uses a few case knifes and the rest would just be kitchen knifes to sharpen. Although I would probably want to use it for my hunting and filleting knives [emoji2]

                  Yep

I have more sharp knives at one time than I have had in a while

Just googled worksharp, looks like several different ones to choose from. Which one do you have/recommend?

Love mine as well. Even the kitchen knives are sharp now.

You will also eventually find a blade it just won't sharpen.

I've had mine for a few years and haven't had any issue rounding tips of knives off. You can literally get any knife to razor blade sharp in a minute or two. It's the easiest and best money you can spend on a knife sharpener.

Love mine as well. I got the Ken Onion Edition. Will also ditto comments about losing the tip if you are not careful. Pull evenly clear through the tip and do not stop. You also don't need to have the speed on high either.
They are a wonderful sharpener if you take your time and learn to do it right.

I get a 6 pack from each neighbor for sharpening their knives. It's an annual thing that Preps my neighbors and I for deer season.
