Spartan or Covert?

Which would you prefer? I know this is like asking what broadheads are best or which truck is better but would
Like to hear your reviews from those that's had these two cameras. Got AT&T cell service if that makes any difference and get good reception at the lease.

I currently have both. They both have their problems from time to time but the ability to get the HD picture sent to me via the Spartan is reason enough for me to buy it again. It really is a huge difference. I also had major problems with Covert and false triggering. 200 plus blanks in one day will drive you crazy. Put my Spartan on the same tree and never get blanks. I have also never been able to get my Covert app to work. Some people say theirs works fine but mine has never worked like it should. They are all made in China so it's a crap shoot but like I said the picture quality alone is reason enough for me to buy Spartan again.

I researched the threads about these and went with Spartan. Happy so far. Mines been out three weeks on only the AA lithium batteries and still showing full battery, probably only about 900 pics though

One thing about running lithium batteries in them is they do not lose charge slowly. They literally go from P5 (full charge) on the battery meter to dead with usually no in between.

I am not familiar with this "Spartan"... I'll have to check it out. I do have a Covert and it worked flawlessly for me for 2 seasons... even after the dang coons chewed the antenna up until there was just bare wires stickin' out the top of the camera... Was in an area with a good signal...
Since I don't hunt out west and only now close to the house, I didn't put the covert out yet. I plan to do so this weekend if things work out right.

And that's something else to consider, the battery life of each and how much batteries cost
