Shot this fellow a few days ago. Saw him two evenings in a row and barely got a shot off. Didn't pay any attention to corn or protein. To busy on acorns but he got a little to close.
Shot him at 35 yards and he went about 80 yards before piling up. Got a clean pass through with my Hoyt Faktor 30.
18" inside spread with good mass. Have him at 5 years old. North side of Lake Ray Roberts.
Glad it happened when it did because all my big boys have split up and gone nocturnal. Feeders have been super slow. Need some cold wet weather to spoil the acorns.
