    Onboard air

This is the fourth time I've spent an hour filling up my tires this late at night due to bolts in the last month. Last two were 1/4"-5/16", possibly from my shop, but this time I'm not sure where I picked it up. My 12v compressor works but blows fuses after a while. Does anyone have suggestions for onboard air systems? I keep plugs in my toolbox, but lack quality air support!

I carry A bottle of CO2 with me on every truck I own. The regulator cost about 30 bucks and you need the 150# one. A 20# bottle (which is about 28" tall and 8" in diameter) will air up hundreds of tires. Cost about 9 bucks to have it filled. It will run air tools as well.

I have the co2 power tank setup in my Jeep.
Easy to use and airs up a tire quick.

I put this 12 volt set-up together and keep it in my toolbox. Works great for changing tires, fixing flats, airing up tractor tires etc.
