Just remember if you buy Swarovski binoculars.

You will have to buy a Swarovski scope to see the same in low light.

Seriously I bought some SLC 10x42 off ebay 8-9 years ago for $650. They were in rough shape out side. The lenses were perfect. I called Swarovski to see about getting a new Swarovski emblem for them. They said just send them in and they would refurbish them completely. Where we hunt we can and do watch deer at long distances. I never have eye fatigue after glassing for long periods of time with mine.

Some of the best reviews of binocs are on bird watching sites/blogs. Would check out if I were you. Might help you choose.
