Ages and Scores please.

This will be a long post with a lot of pics of different deer. If you would I would like ages (important) and scores (not so important).

We can take one trophy and one cull. Trophy is really not a problem, but the culls puzzle me. I will explain with the pics.

These pics are a deer with great brows, but not a lot to go with it. Age is what I am looking for on this deer, but you can give a score if you want.







A unique deer to say the least, but I would like ages on these 2 please. This 6 (2nd pic) had 2 brothers, cousins or offspring with him this AM. Exact same horn configuration.




This is probably my target deer for this year unless something else bigger shows. Age and score please if you would.






This deer is a crab claw 8. Not sure if he needs to be culled or let him go. We have a 6 (above pics) that I have seen several times that came in with either 2 brothers, cousins or his offspring as they are younger, but exact horn configuration.

Would you cull the 6 or the crab claw 8 based on the pics?

The only six I could make out in the pics looks young. I would let him go another year and if I had to cull one of the two it'd be the crab eight. Doesn't look like he'll amount to much; I've got him at around 100 inches. Your target 8 looks to be 4.5 and around 120.

I personally don't think you'd go wrong with killing either the 6 or the crab claw . . . in fact I'd kill em both. let a kid shoot one of em

Thank you. Letting a kid, which we have with some members on our lease, would be a great idea.

The target deer looks plenty old to me. I think he is 5.5 and probably around 125"

Got ya'. They are definitely that for sure. Fortunately I took 2 out of them on Saturday!
