    Big 4 point

How big is this 4 point? I shot him and got a pass through but no blood on arrow, arrow didn't stink so 90% sure it was not gut shot, arrow was wet but not meaty. Had him dead on broadside at 15 yards. Just a few tiny spots of blood 50-80 yards away and then nothing.

I'm thinking maybe I shot high, and then he also ducked maybe. Never had this issue before like this.

The middle one. It may be a 5 point. I don't think it has brow times.

Looks like a 7 to me. If the arrow is not bloody or full of guts then you most likely hit high. Back out and get a dog. Good chance you didn't make a fatal shot from your description. Good luck.

That buck in the middle is a big one. Hope you find him. Or get a dog, night is nice and crisp , perfect for scenting hounds..

Why suggest he get a dog?

              River,

Better safe than sorry. To me, the animal deserves it. Give your recovery 110% effort before you call it off.
