Had a heck of a morning. Was planning on taking a doe, but missed her clean over her back. Then the turkeys swoop in like they do every morning and eat on some corn. I am 0 for 5 trying to kill a turkey with my bow so I let them be. Then this guy walked out with a younger 8 and I new right when I saw him he was going to take a dirt nap. He was big bodied and obviously mature compared to the other 8. I tucked my black eagle carnivore .250 and thunderhead behind his shoulder and he piled up in 30 yards. Saw him drop in the brush. I believe I did not look through my peep when I shot at the doe but I made sure I did everything on this guy. Not my best but he is unique and sure will taste good.
