    Crazy Duck Migration this year!

One of my favorite honey holes is having a weird year (actually, ALL of them are)

Usually by this time we have gotten some hard weather here in NW Colorado, but other than one front, it has been pretty mild.

Friday, went to one of my favorite spots after we had a light rain the night before. Morning dawned clear and bright and we were through shooting with our limits within 20 minutes of legal light. We literally had over 400 birds work our spread in 1/2 and hour and hundreds more flying around us.

This morning, hit the same spot not a single bird was seen. I know we did not shoot it out because birds were hitting the water around us as we picked up dekes and of all the hundreds we saw, we only shot 14 (two 7 bird limits) We had NO fronts push through here this weeked, stayed sunny and cool all weekend, exact duplicate of Friday, and there is not a bird to be seen!

    WEIRD!!
