I have a Martin that has done this in the past. This season it hasn't made a peep. Like stated above, it was worse at times when it was cold. One draw and no issues. Strange to say the least.

My DXT did it also but my tech took it apart, cleaned and lubed the limb sockets and it's good now.

          It's the limb pockets.

I think this may be the issue I will check that first then go from there. I don't think its my limbs and as said before its.not every pull just the first....sounds like some bows do this...I'll tell y'all this I don't like it

If it's the limb pockets doing this will it damage it in anyway? Should I take it in?

My wife shoots the same bow and had the same issue. Ended up being the limbs creaking in the pockets.

Squirt some non scented lube into the pockets and see if it helps. If so, you've got your answer. Then have it taken apart and lubed properly, that should set you right.

And as was said before, replace the cable slide. The ones that come on that bow are a joke.

I fixed it on my hunting bow, but my son's competition bow did it and never hurt anything. It squeaked when he got it and squeaked 4yrs later when he got rid of it. It was just annoying more than anything.

My drenalin makes an very slight creak when drawing it. I was told by my tech that it is the QCC's near the idler wheel
