Prayers for your boy and you/wife! One thing i will say to you is that it is not your fault! You had your boy right next to you and the last thing you need to do is blame yourself for what the snake did. Thank God he is going to be ok and there will be no permanent damage. My son was attacked by a rooster (puncture wounds in the face/back/head, almost got his eye) while we were visiting a farm to get milk and eggs. he was 2 at the time, it was hard not to feel blame and shame for what the rooster did.

Push off all shame and blame, may God to cover your family with his Glory!
