    Baffin Bay?

Ok so I'm staying at a&m kingsville and next Friday I have a bunch of time to kill between my classes so I'm looking for some spots that I can drive to in Baffin Bay to catch some fish. I'll obviously be wanting a Texas slam since my dad and I always slay them on the boat back in arroyo city but here I'm without a boat and stuck to pier and shore fishing. What spots should I try and what bait should I use for this time of year to get in some good fish? I usually throw artificial so any help will greatly be appreciated.

Kaufer Park in Riviera. You can fish the pier if you like but you will have better luck if you wade. I would chunk a Cajun thunder cork with a Berkley gulp shrimp in New Penny under it. There is a small pile of rocks about 100 yds South east of the pier.

You might be able to wade to that once these high tides fall out. Lots of trout and drum. Might even get some flounder this time of year. Or you might try drum point. Great wading and duck hunting there if you don't mind a little bit of a soft bottom.

Thanks, don't own any wade gear. Have you had any luck off the pier?

Always rays around. Just slide your feet.
