    Question for fellow XM Subscribers

Anyone else disgusted by the new programming since the "merger" with Sirius?

I mostly listened to XM 12, Cross Country. The new stuff is not even remotely the same. Probably going to cancel all three of my subscriptions with them. Anyone know something I don't?

I talked to my wife and we both agree we got rid of our subscriptions. Unless the programing changes we won't be getting it again. We think it's horrible.

Yeah, just noticed yesterday 12 is now Outlaw Country which is terrible. I'll probably be cancelling my subscription as well.

I am a rock guy so other than some new DJs it is OK by me. I was shocked on monday morning though and had a discussion to myself in the truck about who the new moron speaking was and the station namechange. Then checked online and saw about the merger.

Some stations fell to XM lineup and some to SIRIUS. Pretty hit or miss. The XM site has the changeovers but not sure if it is equitable....

I do like having the Blue Collar Comedy station though.

Yep was hoping it's just one of their temporary deals that will go away unless you subscribe to "the best sirius" crap

Not disgusted with it just confused about where everything is now. I know some of the stations I used to listen to are gone/changed names.

Yeah. Check out the XM site - they have a good cross reference to find what your old station is now called.

They also said the unit would reprogram so that the station of old would still be preset with the comparable new. I dont think that actually happened.

My free subscription is up in a month or so and I have been fielding calls from them about signing up. I hope they quit calling me. If they had a Texas Country/Red Dirt music channel I would keep it.

Seems to me most of the country stations are not as good... I changed my subscription so I get XM Plus best of sirius. Now I get all of the NFL games!! $14.99/ month on year long subscription.

I actually like it better. But I listen to the rock stations and not so much the country.

That's what XM 12 used to be. It was fully 50 % music I wanted to hear, and another 25% that I just hadn't heard yet. Couldn't tell you how many non-Texas/Red Dirt artisits I learned about from XM 12. No more, obviously. I think I'm going to cancel all accounts this afternoon.

I have been a Sirius subscriber for years. Whatever that comtemporary country channel is, ain't worth a darn. It's not what Sirius had. I usually listen to "The Roadhouse" anyways. It's pretty hard to beat.

Took me a while to figure out they changed.
I just kept scrolling through my presets and thinking, why is every channel sucking?

                            Cross country ain't cross country.
                            Fred ain't Fred, but
Bluesville is still bluesville and the joint is still the joint?

Clearly, nobody checked with me before making these changes...
Need to check the website for lineups I guess.
                            So far, not super happy.

I have been wondering why all of my presets are messed up. I was blaming my fiance for changing stations.
