    Great Weekend Hunting

Had a great weekend hunting and hanging out with my dad. Was able to take my first deer of the year with my bow. I will admit that every time I go bow hunting I learn something. This was the first deer taken from a tree stand, still didn't bend at the waist enough, the shot was high but still got the job done.
The full moon wreaked havoc as it always does, but it still was fun hunting. Very few deer came into the feeder, although i saw quite a few deer, no bucks, not even on the camera, kinda odd.
Was able to get some meat, everything is processed, made some chicken fry last night. Even have bones and scraps for the hound dogs. Good weekend.

                Congrats on the deer!

But, I don't think you can de-bone the meat and take it home and be legal. I may be wrong, unless it changed there in Texas.

If you left it all at camp, you're good though.
