    was it i who mentioned 80# and 5" brace height? (sorry not for me)

    what exactly is brace height and why is everyone so bent out of shape about it?

      brace height is the one thing that puts welts on your forearm,oh and the new one has quad split limbs also

        Brace height is the length from the string at rest to the riser. The shorter the brace height, the longer the "stroke" or how far the string travels. Shorter brace heights give you a faster shot because the arrow stays on the string longer for more energy, but the down side is that any form mistakes you make are compounded because the string and arrow are in contact for a longer part of the shot.

          basically if you dont have pretty good shooting form, with a short brace height bow you wont be as accurate with an longer brace height bow.
