What arrow weight do you shoot and why

I still consider myself fairly new to everything archery and still have a lot to learn. I'm looking at getting a new set of arrows when I started looking at and thinking about arrow weight, foc, etc. I also think my bow maybe a bit noisey on release. I'm currently at 62# with 28" draw using 340 GT XT hunters at 28", nockturnal, blazers and 125gr fixed. Gets me approximately 412gr and 10.68% foc. I'm thinking I'd like to get that closer to 450 with an insert. Thoughts? What do yall sling and why?

    495gr. @ 14.8% f.o.c.

Tried several different arrows and these shot the best.

505gr with 17% FOC Easton Axis with 125gr Slick Trick Magnums and 75gr insert.

It's quieter and harder to stop vs. a lighter weight arrow.

Go to an archery shop and try as many arrows as the have available. You need to find one that your bow really likes to shoot well.
Think if an arrow as a bullet or shell, Remington ammo may shoot just fine out of your rifle but when you shoot some hornady ammo you shoot much better, because the gun likes it better.
Once you narrow down what style shafts shoot best then your set (of course keep in mind to stay within the correct spine for your bow).
Don't over think FOC, I am not a true believer in needing to work it out to what the average is to be, I shoot a lot lighter FOC than whats been advertised and I get pass through on hogs and deer.
Have your bow tuned , test arrows , set up arrow for your likes and dial that sucker in.

wow! These are a lot heavier than I would have thought and great information thanks fellas. I was going to add a 50gr insert and see how it shot. I was hoping it would quiet down as well. Good stuff.

Old arrows were around 380gn (CX Blue Streak)

New arrows are right at 600gn (XX75 Game Getter)

Not sure what my FOC is, never bothered measuring it. They fly true, and pass through.

I wanted a less expensive arrow shaft, and more weight to quiet down the bow even more.

Be careful adding weight to the front. If you're borderline on the spine being too weak, 50gr can underspine you pretty bad. Your setup looks like it should be alright. Looking great on paper doesn't always wind up fitting reality unfortunately.

I found this out the hard way lol.

Good point Kirby I never thought about that. I'm good...borderline but in the opposite direction. My #'s just get me into a 340 so its all good but great to know.

                          480gr Carbon Force XWEAVE

125gr Exodus and Lumasuxs on every arra.

Got tired of changing setups, so went with one that covers every animal I would ever shoot.
