    The gate

    I know this is going to sound corny to some. But through this gate was the best deer lease I've ever been on. In my own opinion the best in llano county. Hunted there 7 years before land owner died. Paying 600 dollars for a year round lease. Daughter took it over and husband decide he wanted to hunt it so it kicked us off. My question is, does anybody hunt this land any more? I know it's just a picture of a gate but at the same time. Living in east Texas living 6 hours away from llano. It was nice to see it and brought back great memories.

          More details would help.
          That gate looks like hundreds do in the hill country. Love those gate pictures though, only if they could talk.

            I had a lease like that . U were stilling it at 600.00. I bet they are leading it for way more than that now.

              It's in llano county, right in between valley spring and ponatoc. It was around 1400 acres with 6 of us on it. The land owner name was cothman. He end up getting Barried in the place. We were down they hunting when they had the funeral procession. Weeks later when we were informed about the place.
