Settled in! Have an East wind for the rest of the day. This is the same wind direction he snuck in behind me on Tuesday. I'm ready and tucked in a small oak just West of the trail in a tripod. We all dream of taking our #1 target. I've played cat and mouse with this buck for 2 wks. I know it's early in the season but 14 sits I'm not doing something right. This will be sit #2 on this trail. Hopefully I can check mate him. Fingers Crossed and something feels good about this evening. Will update as I can. Beautiful evening after today's rain. Hoping it has Stickerboy on his feet freshening up his territory.

Had a doe come by 10 minutes before dark. Kept looking back. Buck passed at dark and I couldn't see pins. Pulled card today and it's just my wife's 8pt that is here regular. Not sure Stickerboy is around anymore after Tuesdays encounter. I'm back in my tree. Wind sucks but oh well. There are 4 other shooters on cam here and at this point I would be happy with any of them. Last day to hunt for the next 8 days.
