    Spike Target

I am not one to target all spikes as 'once a spike/always a spike'. But this guy is getting removed from the gene pool as soon as possible.
Primarily because he is a corn hog and stays at the feeder until all the corn is gone, leaving nothing to attract other deer.
Last outing, he was camped under the feeder and I thought I'd set off the feeder remotely to try to scare him away. You can see what success I had with that.

You know how to make sure you have one less mature buck in 5 years?

I have a corn hog like that. He's been a spike for 2 yrs. if I can I will shoot him in two weeks.

Use a sling shot that will scare him away

Looks like a normal 1.5 yr old spike

Lol. He's cute! He shows up to give you company. You have joys of not getting skunked and get to see game. Leave him be. He'll be gone as the rut gets close. The bigger bucks will run him off

Just north of 79, the Young/Throckmorton County line runs right through the property.

Shoot him if you want but he will quit corn hogging eventually.

Gotcha, just looked similar to the area I hunt that burnt 4 years ago.
