Unfinished business

I have some unfinished business to settle with this deer this season. Went went through the rut like a ghost only showing himself in about two tail cam pics. 100% free range low fence, was hunting him on a 200 acre lease hopefully I can handle some unfinished business this year.

That's the thing about this property, it's so small the bucks only come when the rut kicks in. I have pictures of a buck I saw rutting last year so I know some deer have moved back in. Right now it's just a waiting game to see if he comes back.

Here's a true story about the second picture of him:
So the one day he came out in daylight hours me and my dad didn't go hunting, here's why. My dads favorite niece who was I think two years old at the time was staying with us along with my aunt and uncle. My dad said he can miss one morning of hunting for his niece that he sees maybe twice a year. So me and my dad were outside and he was carrying her, perfect day about 55 degrees and all of a sudden my dad turns and looks at me and he says " he's standing there right now." I say what do you mean, and he says "Bone crushers standing there right now." That afternoon we go out and pull the card and sure enough at the exact time my dad told me he was there we had that daytime picture of him.
I guess when you hunt a deer so hard like my dad did you can tell when and where they are.
