    Check your arrows PSA

Got luck today that I'm not posting a pic of an arrow shaft sticking out of my hand. 2nd group, I went and pulled arrows and as I was sliding the arrows down my hand so that point would be in my palm while walking, I felt an "ouch" like a splinter. Looked st my hand to find a carbon fiber sticking out. Looked at my arrows to find this

Funny you say, this, seriously thinking about going back to aluminum, if for no other reason than cost

Lol. I'd rather shoot sticks than go back to aluminum.

Carbon= either broke or perfect... nothing else to check

Would you shoot arrows that were sun faded. My grandson shot them into the pasture. They set out there for 2 months. They passed the cotton ball test. Would you shoot them ?

                        Personally I would not.

I shoot carbon arrows but I replace them at the first sign of structural issues. I know most people shoot them for years but I replace mine annually. I'd rather spend the money once a year vs an ER visit to have one removed from my hand.

We really need to know the specifics on the arrows for our safety.
