That is a terrible feeling. When I was about that kid's age, I used to climb a tree to hunt it. I had a limb I always stood on about 12 ft up. Well standing there one time with bow in hand and arrow knocked, it gave way and down I went. It was a helpless feeling to be heading towards the ground with no warning whatsoever. I had enough sense to pitch the bow with arrow as far away as possible. I came down hard and awkward but thank God I was young and limber back then. It knocked me loopy for awhile but no other issues.
