How often do you replace your wheel bearings in your utility trailer?

    Brent, the new 20 footer I just bought from Trout there in Porter has dual 7K axles and it has those new fangled grease fittings under a rubber cap on the hubs... never saw them before, but the guys said they have been working real well... have weep holes on 'em just like bearing buddy's do to keep from blowing the inboard seals... Sure hope they do work...

      I don't tow nearly as much as I used to.

      I still pull my bearings once a year, inspect, clean and repack. I also adjust my trailer brakes at the same time.

      I use HB550 grease. It is very good stuff, but not cheap. http://www.hbind.com/admin/productsi...%20%20msds.pdf
