Heard really good things about the Hustler. I think as long as you get a good molded deck, Kawasaki engine, grease zerks to keep it lubed, you'd be good with any of the newer models, as long as you were a weekend user and not trying to make a living with it. I bought a Husqvarna 52", molded deck, 23 hp Kawasaki this summer. Put 17 hours on it and so far, it's a been a great mower. Ask me in 3 years!

get in tighter spots and maybe closer around stuff. GL. DFor the input......

Brother bought a commercial zero turn from a neighbor, 1600 hours on the kawa engine. His drive pumps have gone out but the motor still running. I cant recall the maker of the mower

My stepdad bought a 48" Hustler from a local dealer in Santa Fe. Within a year he closed up shop and his warranty meant absolutely nada. There are places around that'll repair it, but on his dime only. If you have a tractor and implement dealer who isn't simply a month by month store front I'd feel safe getting the Hustler. I also would stay away from Tractor Supply and Home Depot models. Their warranty is worthless too. I decided to go with a 54" Kubota Kommander simply because they are known to last. Our Alvin dealer has been open for 40+ years which was the real first reason to get it. The wife griped a little at the initial cost but after she got the hang of mowing with a zero turn she grudgingly said it was worth it.

He can take it to any Hustler store & get warranty work done.
