    Doe question.

I know all the does around in my area last year were bred late. Most of them still had fawns with spots with them into December. The ones that did get bred were still pregnant and didn't have fawns till after Memorial Day this year. They haven't shown back up on camera yet, which has me baffled. But also I have 3 does that didn't breed last year. 1 had twin does, that are still traveling with her as 1.5 year olds, and the other 2 had bucks, that are still traveling with them as 1.5 year old spikes. Does this seem a little weird to Yall?

The part about the bucks is unusual.

It's common in deep East Texas families.

Be careful there might be some on here.

2 of our does have yearling bucks still with them as spikes along with their current fawns. But the doe frequently force them away from them and the feeders. Guess they won't take the hint

In my experience it's common to see 1 year old deer with their moms but as soon as the rut hits those spikes will be probably be gone, the 1.5 year old doe's may stay in the group for the rest of their lives but will probably separate some during the rut.
