Question for HCO Spartan wireless camera users

I have 3 of these deployed and they're working great for over 4 weeks now using lead acid batteries.

However, I frequently get photos emailed to me up to 14 hours after camera took them, yet other photos taken in meantime arrived moments after time shown. For example, I got a photo at 12:34 pm today that was taken at 7:04 pm last night. Between 7:05 pm last night and 12:30pm today I had received more than a dozen other photos almost as soon as camera took them.

No big issue, but wondered if there is a fix?

I have had the same issue, i think maybe it is because my service is borderline. One time I did not get a pic for two days, the third day I had 300 pics in my spam folder.

I have that happen too and my camera has full service. Not sure why they do that.

I notice it getting more frequent recently. Wondering if batteries getting lower have any affect on this?

You might be right, but after reading in this site all the grief you Covert guys were having getting set up and talking with users of both Covert and HCO, I went with Spartans.

Almost ready out of the box. Not wanting to start a comparison debate here, just know HCO Spartan was easy to set up for this technology challenged geezer.

All the pictures in the HCO app work just fine. It's the emailed pictures that are delayed sometimes. Since Covert doesn't offer emailed pictures they don't have that problem.

If it takes you as long to look at your email as it does to use that Covert app you're doing something wrong.

Well I would have to download the pic in my email while at deer camp. And to my knowledge this will also use more data. Downloading 50-60 pics a night is not fun

I don't know what you're doing but that's not how it should work. It doesn't use more data. It's the same size file no matter how you get it to your device.
