Question for Boneview users

I just read husker's thread about card readers and it's got me worried. A couple of weeks ago I checked a few SD cards using my Boneview on an Ipad. I usually use a laptop to clear the cards but this time I cleared them using the Boneview. I put them back in the cameras and now they don't work at all - no pics recorded. Did the Boneview reformat them or something? Any suggestions?

I used mine this weekend and had many different sd cards in and out of it and had zero issues.

Do you use the Boneview to clear the card? I have never had a problem just viewing pics with it but that was the first time I used it to delete all images.

did you try and reformat the card in the camera?

I have done it a couple of times without an issue. Just make sure the all the folders are completely deleted.

I don't know about bone viewer but have had issues with the formatting I get if I clear it on my computer so for me its standard practice to clear (reformat) on the camera itself.

I use it to clear cards all the time. No issues. Sounds like a camera issue or a card issue.

Cleared all my cards and had zero problems.

I always delete my pictures with the game camera when I put the card in it. I do this because I've seen other devices that when you delete the pictures with them it can cause problems. Also, my game camera's delete pictures faster then my other devices I view the pictures on.

I use boneview on android. But I don't delete from there. Copy/move photos to the tablet and then format/delete in the camera.
