Well I spooked 4 bucks at the feeder this morning at 5:40am. Thought for sure I was early enough to avoid this. Unfortunately they never came back. Had a pig slip in around 6:15am but I couldn't get a good shot in the dark so he got a pass.
This evening I got in the stand by 5:30pm and didn't see a thing.

Guess this is why is called hunting and not shooting

Will be back out in the morning for round two.
Good luck to everyone and stay safe.

It happens. We did the same thing this morning but didn't know until I pulled cards after morning hunt.

Put a bow light on your bow for those early pigs.

I carried my thermal scope so I could scan the area and see what was around as I was walking in

I have one. The problem is seeing my sight. All my pins run together in the dark and it's hard to see and line up through the peep. Been thinking about going to a single pin sight with a dial.

Or, you could eliminate a couple of pins. Good luck.
