Sneaking into the stand

So my walk in this afternoon i noticed 1 thing. I cant move like a mouse. Im more like a bull in a china shop. Between all the dead leafs I dont know how to do it quietly. What do yall do to help reduce ur noise while walking.

I just walk normal to the stand and quickly get settled. The quieter I try to be on steps the longer I make more noise. Get in and get quiet.

Agreed, seems like the quieter I try to be the louder I get. Just get in and sit down ASAP.

Get a leaf blower or rake and clean your trail down to dirt.

get in quickly, nothing you can do about it...the slower you take the longer duration of noise your making, get in their quickly to let things calm and settle down

I get in the stand early and hope than no deer are around. Worked out today. Got in the stand at 1:25 and 10 minutes later 5 doe walk by.

If you feel like your causing a disturbance bring a rake and clean your trail out. It'll help for sure, and you'll be able to see what else walks your trail.

Well i think getting into the stand quietly isn't my only problem. Played the wind right and still got busted! Now it's my scent game that I thought had covered.
