    Bow String Help

I was shooting my Mathew's Drenalin today and noticed that a part of my bow string looked strange. Is this normal?

I think i replaced the strings 2 or three years ago and I keep my strings waxed. Let me know your thoughts.

It looks the serving come loose there and not actual string fraying. I would wax the string and keep eye on the area .

Do you think I should go ahead and get the string replaced? Of course, I'm all dialed in and shooting great, but I don't want to have a mishap when I'm out in the field due to this string.

Serving separation. Very common, it should be ok, just watch it. Get it replaced after the season.

Have the end reserved should be lots cheaper than new strings and it wont affect you poi.

I wouldn't replace it... the reason I say that is my string is doing the same thing .I took it to the shop and they said it was common problem but the string itself was not damaged.

As long as the string is not damaged and the serving is just separated and not cut, it will be okay until after season. Get it replaced after season. If the serving breaks you can have the end reserved very easily by someone.
