I will be going on Monday. My daughter is in 4h and competing in an event on Monday. Then I will have to go back the following Monday because my daughter is competing in the livestock judging event. It has been close to 15 years since I have been to the State Fair. Kids are getting old enough now that I am sure we will be at more stock shows now.

I would go if we were not here in Auburn, Alabama for parents weekend/homecoming! The Prairie View versus Grambling game is always off the charts..........one HUGE party.........especially halftime........LOL!Comment

I last went 30 years ago. When I was a teenager, we would go 5 or 6 times a year. But that was when it was cheap, and safe for kids to run around the fair by themselves (early 70's). Probably won't be going again.Comment
