Man, they got a lot more of a hassle over the meat than me. I killed my stag the day before I came home. Wrapped it and froze it and packed it in an ice chest with clothes all around it for insulation. Never filled out any paperwork. Customs asked me what I had in the ice chest and I told them red stag meat. They basically said OK, and sent me on my way. After nearly 30hrs total (when I got home), it was thawed, but still cold as heck.
Been wanting to do this for a few years. I will be doing it hopefully in the future. I did a TON of reading on it and it is very doable. I can't wait to really start planning it.
