I blessed to live on a few acres sour side of dripping springs. I've got a regular group of deer that feed and loaf around the house daily. We've been moved here in late July and the deer have been like clockwork until today. The've still been coming to corn even with tons of acorns in the the ground. They've been falling for two weeks. I get home today and see corn in the ground. Strange. Eventually 3 or 4 of my usual does come (often have 15+) and feed till everything is gone. Later I see a spike and fork horn that I've never seen before then a young 8 with his nose to the ground. He finds the hot doe and has been running her for the last hour. None of my regular buck are here.
