Do you think if car manufactures would quit spending all that $$ on comercials that the cars/trucks would cost a hole lot less? Maybe thats why they want to be bailed out so they can run some more adds....

I don't guess I've seen that one, Mac. I happen to love the free credit report commercials. I actually had that song stuck in my head, all day, not long ago. Sham-wow sucks, along with Mighty Putty.

Take a look at the wages they are paying American automakers...in my opinion, that is the main reason they are going broke.

Also, they have been charging outrageous prices for their vehicles and up until recently, the American public has been paying them. Many people will go out and spend way more than they can afford to simply keep up or ahead of the Jones'. In the end, the car makers have priced themselves out of the market because the public is tapped out due to the increased cost of living due to the current financial situation that our country is in. Many are now making due with what they have due to high prices and the uncertainty of our economy. I am hoping that the government stays out of the auto buisness. I wish the government would have stayed out of the mortgage complanies' fiasco. Let poor buisness operators go out of buisness. Let the ones that are sound buisness operators take over.

Here's my gripe- Watch the Sonic commercials, the 2 dudes in the mini van w/ no car seats are rubbing elbows 3/4 of the time.
