No personal experience, but it's priced like a loaded out 3/4 ton GM, Ford and Dodge diesel with a lot less HP and Torque.

Well it's like a 300 hp w 500 ft lbs of torque vs 6.7 350 and 800 torque. If you been driving a higher hp engine it will feel like a dog but being in a 1/2 ton not needing all that then might be pretty good.

Aggiehunter is correct there was someone that didn't like it.

My dad just got one and seems to like it. He only uses for pulling his big smoker trailer and a tractor around town though.

From a used car dealer on another forum.
"Anything with an Ecodiesel. We have had people coming in with less than 10k miles trying to get out of them that are all about 20k upside down. Just appraised one with 2600 miles on it that's a 2016 model. Trade in book looks about 27-28k right now. Owe's close to 50k. Window sticker is 46k and the average selling price is 30k. I called this one from about a year before they came out.

Be careful on these trucks, they are going over like a fart in church."

Clearly this isn't a Titan, but I'd be leery of a 1/2 ton diesel. The general consensus is that people are realizing they don't make since fiscally.

Ive had training on the 5.0 Cummins, fuel system is a lot different from a normal common rail like on the 5.9 and 6.7. turbo is crammed even on an engine stand. idk why they pushed it in a half ton but the vocational applications is where they will be popular. get ready to see them shoved in buses and medium duty trucks. Freightliner will have a boat load of them.

Theres diesel shop by my house that just opened. Their sign says

                    "Specializing in powerstroke and Cummings"

I thought really? Sure it could have been the printer but I wouldn't have paid for a misspelled sign much less hung it up at the road.

I have owned four Titans and love everything but the gas mileage. The new diesel is way overpriced. I could buy a small house for that price.

I have been impressed by by nissan. My wife has a 2011 armada and I drive a 2012 Titan Pro-4x. I had a 2007 F-250 FX-4 before the titan. That being said, I have yet to see the appeal of 1/2 ton diesels, especially when they don't get any better fuel milage. The appeal of diesels used to be their pulling capacity and their longevity. Their towing capacity is great if you need it on the 3/4 ton and up, but with all the emissions equipment and tightening the tolerances to quiet them down and reduce emissions, they don't last any longer than today's gassers and are a whole lot more to maintain.

Just bought a 2017 Pro4X V8 Endurance. Love the truck, the gasser will get after it. A lot of diesels sitting on the lot. I traded a 2012 Titan SL with 51200 miles in on it. Someone getting a good low mileage truck. Made them pull the Pro4X stickers off the side of the bed.

I have a pro4x. I love it. Getting 23 mpg. I 9500 miles on it so far. It's a little slow off the line but once you build boost it runs great. Pulls better then any gas truck I've ever been in. I also have a 6.7 Cummins for heavy loads. I bought 2 trucks I hauled the other one to my safety guy. At 75 mph ran 1500 rpm and got 15 mpg on a 22 foot bumper pull trailer.
