    Scotch Whisky

I am thinking about selling some of my collection. Does anyone know what the legality of doing this is? Also, does anyone know how to sell it?

I have found some websites that I can sell on but I am assuming they are over seas because everything is in Euros.

What they don't know wont hurt them is the legality behind that. WHat you got?

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the concept of buying whisky and then NOT drinking it.

I was speaking with a guy who bought "futures" on wine... didn't even know you could do that. I wonder if you can on Whiskey?

                    Harumph!

My deceased step grandfather, Jack, went to a Buorbon County distillery with his then first wife and bought a bottle of some first run or somethingerrother. Came as package deal with glasses, wooden box, etc. it sat in his cedar chest for 40 some odd years...my grandmother gave it to my father after Jacks passing. Current value of $1200-1500. I give two flips of pricing...crack that badboy open!

                    Mmmm...Scotch.

                    Good luck on the sales.

I have a good friend in Dallas who is pretty in tune with the wine/spirits/beer markets. He happens to be a Scotch connoisseur with a pretty hefty and well rounded collection. I've had way too many late nights at he and his wife's place, sharing some pretty great scotches. Shoot me a PM with what you have, and I can pass it along to him and see if he's interested or can even direct you to where to sell/list it.
