    UV light for hunting clothes

    I'm not obsessing but..
I want to check my hunting clothes for UV brightness before this weekend and need to get a UV light. Should it be UV black or UV white?

    Am I wasting my time?
    Is there an easier way?

    Thanks in advance

I used to worry about it. But a TBHer who is a veternary opthamologist explained how it's nothing to worry about.....

        Thanks Shane

        Lots of good information there.

I have notice that depending on what camo cover I have on, I get different results.

One camo real lite mesh with 3-d leafy on it. Deer never look up at me.

The other camo a little heavier (Scent Control) with a ghillie type of material on it. They spot me way before they should.

        It's not the wind.
        It's not me moving.

        I'm figuring its UV

I think some patterns and materials all blend together at a little bit of distance and you end up looking like a big dark blob rather than a mix of light and dark. I know that it's easy to spot a guy in certain camo in certain situations, while other times a guy in camo just disappears.

                UV

Just a couple things on this . There are as many biologists that believe deer can see in Uv as cant. Deer arent the only critters in the woods . Deer bait companies are using it UV reflectors in some of their baits . The company that sells anti deer fencing here has started using UV reflective ribbons .
I've been busted far less often by deer birds and squirrels since Ive started being aware of UV signature .
