? Colorado unit 771 ?

Got an invite firm my BIL to join him and my FIL to go on an elk hunt in unit 771 from about November 5-13. Or something close to that. It's an otc bull only tag. Anyone know anything about this area? Access? Elk numbers? Pressure? I'm worried that with a bad knee I won't be able to get to where the elk are and my FIL isn't in the best shape either.
Any advise will be appreciated!

Here are the statistics for each unit during each season. No personal experience but will give you an idea on expectations. Not sure what rifle season that corresponds with, you'll need to look that up. Better plan for any type of weather and I'd shoot the first legal bull you see.

I hunted that unit last year with 5 buddies from day light to dark for 5 days. Saw a ton a mule deer. I saw one elk for about 1/10 of a second, another guy saw one for about 1/2 second, and another guy shot a cow out of a heard with no legal bulls.
We hunted at 9,000 ft in the 1st gun season. It wasn't cold enough to push the bulk of them down. The group I went with has been going for a while and they've had a lot of success with mulies, and minimal with elk. Nothing big as far as elk go, but they've killed several.
If it's legal, start launching the lead.
