I just wanted to say thank you to Charles M. (Not sure of his username on here) for bringing us down our Jack Russell Puppy from Aledo. We had agreed that he would bring the puppy and we would get him on an alligator. We set 6 lines Saturday afternoon and told Charles we would make sure we had a couple on before he made the trip down with the puppy. Well wouldn't you know it, we go down Sunday morning and do not have one gator on between 6 lines. We had one pulled down and the rest were untouched but had gators in close proximity to them. We usually catch on at least 50% of the lines we set. When I told Charles about the situation he said well let's just see what happens between now and this afternoon.
We met Charles in Winnie and headed on down to the marsh to see what we had. Well the good faith paid off and on the first line we checked we had an 8'4" alligator!
TBH is an amazing place with some amazing people! I didn't have to drive to Aledo and back to get a puppy, I met a fellow landman, and got a new friend on an alligator. Thank you Charles for being a good sport and having good faith in us to get you on a gator!
