Question about permit requirement to hunt Addax.

So a friend of mine owns a high fence ranch with exotics including addax. He mainly owns it for mineral rights but also has lots of deer and exotics that came with the purchase. He mentioned addax and if I recall there are now special permit requirements to harvest those antelope. Does anyone have any experience with this and can you help me out understanding what we need to do to legally harvest them?

I have no idea that's why I'm asking. I just vaguely remember it come up a few years ago and want to make sure we're legal.

No permit required for addax.
