Has anyone hunted in the Kuiu Super down pants and jacket? Curious to weather you were in? I will be in Colorado and need to be able to handle down to 0degrees. This obviously isn't the only layer/ gear I'm taking but trying to understand its effectiveness.

Never hunted in it but I've seen them and they are very nice. So compressible and lightweight it is ridiculous. My neighbor hunted Montana in November last year. Temps were 10-30 deg F with some wind and snow. He had the chinook jacket and pants, the 145 merino top, and the super down. He said he never felt cold except his hands. This year he's going back with the super down glassing mitts.
I wear the Kenai underneath the guide jacket. Works great for me in those temps as well

The guide series is excellent, you will love them. It's probably the closest thing out there to being water proof without being "rain gear". So much quieter and more comfortable than rain gear too. I've been in a down pour and been dry. Water pressure is the issue, if you sit down in a puddle you will soak through the bottom of your pants.
