Scentlok lifespan?

Have a lightweight Scentlock suit I wear approx 5 times a year. Almost no noticeable wear to it but I've had it for 5 years or so. The Scentlok website says the suit should last 3-5 years.....Is this theory based on the technology wearing after such time or simply that 3-5 years of hard use will likely take a toll?

Thoughts? It's still in great shape, just want to make sure it still works as advertised.

I would think if the suit is still in good shape it should be working fine. I thought the scent blocking technology was built into the fabric so I would think you should be ok

Then it may be time to invest in some new ones. I was lucky I found some Scentblocker on sale at Gander Mountain, and then when scent blocker had their big 50% off sale on their site.

Went ahead and replaced with the new Scentlok Savanna suit - has a built in hood/facemask and storage bag.
