I am also personal friends with the Chief Deputy and might help you get some relief if you still need it.

I actually live in Burleson County now. Sorry I need to update my info. I live down highway 2000 a little past mud Katts.

been dealing with a similiar situation myself. Wishing i wouldve spent the 25k to buy the property next to mine now. My neighbor is a taxidermist in town so you wouldve thought he would be a good ol boy but not so much. He calls anytime we shoot a 22 or anything (we are outside the city limits) and then he bought the land between us and built his daughter a house. I now know why she is divorced shes a hefty lady that like to scream and holler like shes calling the pigs in for slop. her one son about 10 yrs old is very well mannered and nice but her teenage son is a total arse and has cussed at my wife on numerous occasions, blares his stereo does donuts all in there yard along with his friends peeling out up and down the roads all hours of the night and they wont do a thing about it. Pretty sure the kid never goes to school etc and being i minor i cant even say anything to him these days without being in fear of someone trying to slap charges on me for saying anything not positive and having him a participation ribbon for the donut contest

I'd be calling the SO constantly and then move to the sheriff if his deputies don't do anything.

And to think I was considering moving over there away from all the 5th graders in college over here.

Had a renter across the street do this & the other neighbors were calling the cops 3-4x a week & wouldn't stop...our kids were young then & couldn't sleep.

I think they were dealing as they didn't have any sort of regular work hours & would be up till 3-4 in the AM. Worst part was their taste in music...the rap made the problem way worse for me.

I took matters into my own hands and would go over just before day break...I would let loose a 500 count of blackcats on their doorstep. Took about 3x and they finally got polite. I'm sure that wasn't fun being hung over.

Not quite. The minute you are confronted with deadly force you have the right to use deadly force.

This is why when I bought my place ( half mile frontage ), I built right in the middle. No close neighbors. I know this is not the solution to the OP's problem, but something to think about if you are considering buying propetty to build on.

We had a similar problem in east Guadalupe County earlier--only the offensive behavior was folks shooting tannerite. Neighbors were annoyed and justifiably so. However, the shooters were legal and safe so LEO hands were tied allegedly. The LEOs were able to get the two sides of the issue to work things out--

It seems like in Brazos county you have to call multiple times for the SO to do anything about it. I'm not sure what their problem is maybe they don't have a decibel meter to measure the noise. Last time we had the issue it was 1:30 in the morning and I drove over (yes, they live that far away) and introduced myself and asked to speak to the person that owned the house, I then explained how I could hear his music clearly inside our house and it was keeping my kids and I up and if they could please turn it down I would appreciate it.
We've had no more problems and always get an invite to any parties they're having.
