Hill Country Getaway Recommendations

Looking to get my wife and me out of town for the weekend within the next few months and would like to spend some time in the Hill Country. What are y'all's recommendations? Don't want to spend a ton, but willing to pay for something nice.

If you're looking around Fredericksburg, I've stayed at the Cabins Out Back (https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p3861504) and we really enjoyed it. Mrs. Patterson makes a KILLER breakfast.

My parent's place is right down the road from there. Great place to get away and quite a bit to do around Fredericksburg to relax.

B&B on Knopp School Road in Fredericksburg. Private cabins and private hot tubs. Stay in the Czech Cabin. Better call early to get reservations. Remote and private and you can watch the deer and turkeys off the porch.

Stay at the ranch outside of town in the cabins, not at the hotel in town. They feed whitetail and axis right off the back porch of your cabin every evening and have elk and others as well. My wife and I loved it and it made for some great photo opportunities
