    Dissrespect at the Rangers game

Two rows in front of me at the Ranger's Angel's game tonight a punk kid took a knee during the Anthem. On either side of him were what I presume were his parents and an older brother.
It fell to me correct the lad since his parents obviously weren't going to.
I snapped my fingers and said "boy, stand up" he complied. And after the anthem moved half a row away from me and his folks (who I think we're imbaressed) never met my eye.

There was another a few rows away but I wasn't going to go walking around to correct the little punks during the Anthem.

I would have bought you a beer/cola afterward. Thanks.

Hopefully, one day, he will think about what you did for him.

I'm saddened by what today's youth recognize as a form of rebellion, because of one man's act of defiance.

Too bad you could not slap him in the back of the head and reset him.

My 6 year old daughter whacked another kid over the head with her Pom Pom who took a knee on the national anthem.....according to people around her she told him "stand up a**hole!" We had a conversation later about her language.....lol

I guess she may have a tad bit too much of her mommy in her.....hahahaha

I have a habit of seeing who's still got their hat on in case it needs to be knocked off.

Luckily there aren't too many of them and they are usually 3+ sections away.

To each his or her own. We have a constitution that gives every citizen the right to do whatever they want. I'm 100% with your actions and thoughts on the subject, but they have a right to not do as much as to do.....you also fought for that right Gunny!!

Sometimes language can be forgiven! This is one of them!

You can't catch my 2 year old. He's as wild as he is free. All boy!
But when that song is playing he stands tall and still with his hand over his heart starring at Old Glory fly.
And if he don't, I put a lump on his head. Just sayin, ya gotta teach em right from wrong.

If their idiot parents won't correct it, I'm glad you did.

True dat, but, as you know, being legal and having certain rights does not always mean it is proper.
