      .

They are my favorite of the 3 personally. If you like crab legs give them a shot you won't be disappointed.

I think there is more meat in the dungeness. That is all I eat now.

Kings have the most meat but Dungeness have the best flavor. Snow crab is just a marketing name. They are really Tanner Crab and we always threw those back when I lived in Alaska.

I have never eaten any but thought that most Dungeness crabs were sold already cooked (if "fresh" as meaning uncooked/prepared). The meat goes bad quickly and it has to be rapidly cooked after it is caught and before it is frozen.

Or so I thought but then again, I have never eaten any..........

I disagree with some of you guys. I don't think dungeness crab have a sweet taste. I think blue crab has the sweetest then the two crab legs (snow and king crab)

It has been a long time since I've had one but I still remember how good it was.
You can get them at Whole Foods in the seafood case...I think they were $120lb in Orlando last month which is where I saw them.

I love snow crab. I can't say I've ever had Dungeness crab. I will now. Thanks for giving me a high dollar craving.

I like them so much that they've replaced Blue crab in our crab boils. Lots more meat and easier to get at. We got ours fresh at a little Asian seafood place the last time I had them. But that was in New Mexico. There's got to be a market here somewhere to get them.

It's the best crab in my opinion. Good stuff.

The fancier HEB's have them once in a while. I do believe they are precooked though as are the other types of crab except for maybe the blues since they are local.

I've seen them at Costco in Houston but bet Sam's Club has them as well. I think they were cooked and frozen.
