Just got word. My Uncle who is battling stage 4 cancer is not doing well. My mom and family are all traveling today to get here to visit.

If you have a second our family could use your prayers.

              Thanks for taking the time.

Just got word from my cousin just that they've called for hospice. My uncle is somewhat out of it, but they aren't going to tell him its hospice coming in to help.

My Mom and Aunt are going straight to his house in from Louisiana. Both are almost here.

Its been a tough day today.

He started having issues in late Jan early Feb. Didn't actually go to see a Doctor until late April. They informed him he had pancreatic cancer, which by stage 4 has a low survival rate. It started out with him having issues when eating. Extreme discomfort.

What I've learned is this cancer has a blood marker and can be detected early. The problem is you don't show any signs or symptoms until its in advanced stages.

My Uncle is in his 70s and prior to this slowing him down, you'd have never guess his age. He was still doing the things he enjoyed from building custom cabinets and remodeling homes to hunting and fishing in the mountains.

I just pray now for my cousins and God's mercy.

              Again, thanks for the prayers.

                Just ask for continue prayers.

Got to visit with my Uncle yesterday. He seemed to have improved, and we're hopeful he was out of it due to the meds he took on Monday. Knock him for a loop.

Its still tough because yesterday sort of let us all know he's fighting something hard to beat.

We just remain hopeful and continue to be with him. He said having everyone around lifts his spirits. I think we all left a little after 9pm, so he could get some rest.

Going to try and go over again later after dinner.

                Thanks again.
