Correction...movie was mostly filmed in NM. Clovis, Portales, Tucumcari, and ABQ based on the IMDB. I live in clovis and my church is in the background on the opening scene.

Great movie! FYI, Jeff Bridges' role was modeled after Parnell McNamara, McLennan County sheriff.

My bro-in-law's nephew wrote the screenplay and also the screenplay for Sicario. He played the deputy in the first few seasons of Sons of Anarchy.
