Ok so I work on a ranch in Edna and I'm pulling a 20 foot shredder with a Jd 5083e and it keeps showing that the tractor is overheating. It is possible for it to overheat in 30 minutes of mowing the grass I'm mowing is not that tall or thick. What could be the problem I've already cleaned out the radiator. What else could it be. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You need a hand held infrared thermometer. You can point it at the radiator, manifold, engine block and so on. Sometimes the gauges or sensors malfunction and will say the engine is overheating when it isn't.
A good tech can tell you what the proper operating temps should be when you aim the thermometer at these areas.
Your radiator inside can be clogged too, not just the outside.Last edited by Fishy; 10-06-2016, 09:27 AM.

Beyond that, it's low on coolant. Or there's a wiring problem with the thermostat. Any chance rodents got to the engine bay? Our 5045e was acting the same way a couple of months ago and it ended up being squirrels chewing on wires.

He's correct. There's a thin screen type filter in there that should slide out.
